Verdict

Eviscerating started favourite in the race won by Granson at Tramore but was held when falling at the last. The winner was having his first start since April but battled on despite veering markedly left on the run-un. Thatbeatsbanagher appeared to need every yard of the 2m5f at Killarney where he didn't get on top until the closing stages so this looks on the short side and ARCH MELODY (NAP) looks the one to beat. Always travelling well when scoring over 2m4f here, he completed a double with another comfortable victory over this trip on a return visit and can defy a massive 12lb rise.
