In depth

Verdict

COQUIN MANS won a bumper in France in 2015 and was returning from a very long break when landing the odds on his hurdling debut at Limerick in December. He only scrambled home that day but today's much longer trip will be more to his liking and he can remain unbeaten. Woodford Island has only won once over hurdles but has been racing in very strong company and both going and distance are in his favour. Be The Hero has failed to finish in two starts over fences since scoring over this trip at Kilbeggan last May but The Winkler is almost certainly better over the bigger obstacles nowadays. Aunt Alice stays the trip but will need to improve if she's to get involved.
