Verdict

This is by far the stronger of the two divisions as a number have already shown plenty of promise over fences. Heaney made mistakes but kept on well at Kilbeggan last month and has scope for improvement. Playtime Ben was only beaten two lengths when favourite over a shorter trip here last time, though Mattara was still in contention when falling in that race and shouldn't be ignored. Raajih is another to consider and Pals Leg has always looked a chase in the making over hurdles but STONEMASTER is probably the one to beat. He had Raajih a place behind when second at Kilbeggan and would have been the best of these over hurdles.
