Verdict

Court Challenge has improved with each run and, if handling the quicker ground, will be difficult to keep out of the frame. For Gortnatona led for a long way over a longer trip at Clonmel and her rider is likely to attempt the same tactics but the vote goes to TROUBLED SOUL. She might have won over hurdles at Bellewstown in August but for falling at the second last and has since been confined to bumpers. Winning point-to-pointer Twenty Four Years has run twice over fences recently, finishing a close second at Kilbeggan and falling at Down Royal, so she would be an obvious threat if taking to the smaller obstacles.
