Calder Prince pops up in races like this now and again, though usually on much softer going. Mazyoun made a promising reappearance in a much better race at Chester but he’s not easy to win with and is another who might have preferred easier ground. Make Me has only won a soft-ground maiden so far but was a fair third at Thirsk earlier this month. Cheer The Title is unexposed and makes his handicap debut and Sureyoutoldme seems best on the all-weather.
