Verdict

FLASH TOMMIE revealed dramatic improvement last time when never in danger at Stratford over 2m4f. The key to the improved form appears to be quick ground allied to front-running tactics, a repeat of which could see many of these out-of-form opponents in trouble at an early stage. All the best form of his career has come on good ground or better and he's taken to back up that recent success. My Friend George goes well for the in-form Henry Brooke and is well worth a try at this higher level. He's won two and been placed in three of his five starts this year and another good run is anticipated despite him being 15lb higher than when scoring at Sedgefield in April. Trillerin Minella commands respect if able to repeat his latest effort at Market Rasen when beaten just under a length by a back-to-form Ballybough Pat and Rose Dobbin has a fair double chance lower down the weights with Shady Sadie and Everylasting.
