Verdict

Time may tell that SOARING GLORY was facing a very stiff task trying to give 6lb to Dusart at Newbury. Jonjo O’Neill’s novice had landed the odds at Chepstow previously when bettering a subsequent winner and will take all the beating here. Donnie Azoff is making his hurdling debut having placed in all three starts in bumpers while Gemirande pulled much too hard at Bangor when having a first run for Venetia Williams. Bird On The Wire was brought down at the first at the same track but dual bumper winner Rory And Me is fit from the Flat and preferred to Duke Of Alba, who was 0-15 on the level.
