Verdict

BUXOM has gone close on a couple of occasions and it may be worth forgiving her some below-par efforts over longer trips since her second at Taunton in November. She can finally open her account today ahead of Uttoxeter third Definitely Glad, though the latter is less exposed. Dubaianswer has been placed twice in six runs over timber but has been struggling lately while Pollystone was still beaten 15 lengths when second over a longer distance at Huntingdon. Luci Di Mezzanotte could be a danger, however, despite making her hurdling debut. She ran the well-regarded The Pirate Queen to a head in a bumper at Taunton earlier this month.
