This looks less competitive than the previous division and BOBS LORD TARA is taken to defy a penalty having won by nine lengths at Carlisle last month. A P McCoy keeps the winning partnership intact. Ifonlywecud has shown enough to suggest he can win at this level but hasn't raced since September. Imperial Prince was noted making up late ground on his debut at Newcastle but Silver Crossing's challenge didn't last long before he faded into sixth over track and trip last month.
