In depth

Verdict

SECRETE STREAM is penalised but was such an impressive winner at the last meeting here that he's handed the vote to follow up. The runner-up has since landed a handicap and the form looks strong. Tough Trade scored one of the shock victories of the season at Kelso but this looks much more difficult as both Stonebrook and Tiqris will carry support. The former was purchased by J P McManus after his impressive bumper victory at Carlisle and he saw his colours carried to victory on a return visit. He could be useful over hurdles and though Tiqris has been beaten three times over timber since two excellent runs in bumpers he's come up against some promising types and will be a real threat.
