Verdict

Sir Boreas Hawk can come back with a bang to beat the likes of Master Nimbus and Osako D'airy. Sir Boreas Hawk could be one to follow in decent events this season, and is sure to have been well prepared for his return to action, having been off since making a winning start over hurdles at Catterick in February. He has progressed well through the bumper ranks, and teams up yet again with Tom Greenall who knows him well by now. The combination should prove too hot to handle despite not being seen together for nine-months, and should easily be capable of giving weight away to his main rivals here. The best of them should be Master Nimbus, one of two John Quinn challengers, but this past course-and-distance winner did not beat much at Bangor, and has a penalty to overcome. Stablemate Archie Babe won this 12-months ago, but that was on softer ground, and he has since been put over fences, with just the one success to his name. Osako D'airy was put in his place by the Sliotar at Market Rasen, and although helped by the drop back in trip, will do well to score from out of the handicap. All in all, Sir Boreas Hawk should have the scope and class to come out on top despite perhaps being a little ring rusty.
