      In depth

      Verdict

LORD BRENDY is having his seventh run over fences but he was given plenty to do when second to Achimota at Doncaster last time and could go one better if ridden closer to the pace today. Pinerolo has dropped to a fair mark and is eased in grade for this so shouldn't be far away with Jonathan England's claim a plus. Allanard won over course and distance in May of last year but is still 13lb higher and Cape York has shown little so far over the larger obstacles. The others are even harder to fancy.
