      Verdict

With plenty of runners, some luck in-running may be required in this. Schiehallion Munro went from strength-to-strength in novice company last season, winning three of his four starts and finishing second in the other. Sky Pirate is a strong traveller but couldn’t get past Storm Control at Doncaster last December and is worse off at the weights. Ecu De La Noverie won over 2m here last season but reverts to fences on an 8lb higher mark. ALMAZHAR GARDE won twice last term and going and trip look ideal for Charlie Longsdon’s gelding, who is back in the right grade on his reappearance. The Dubai Way, a course and distance winner on his return to action last season, is also interesting while Cracking Find is starting to look very well treated. Shannon Bridge could also figure with a clear round but Demi Sang is hard to catch right.
