In depth

Verdict

Twelve Roses was only beaten 10 lengths behind Faugheen in a Grade 1 at the Cheltenham Festival in 2014. He hasn't raced since but will be one to watch when he regains full fitness. Spirit Of Shankly was in good form over hurdles at this time last year, winning a handicap at Aintree. He'll have had plenty of schooling while Southfield Royale boasts a 50 per cent strike rate in his six races to date and his stable is in good form. THE GREY TAYLOR has two wins and a second on his record from three previous runs here. He should make a chaser and can make a winning reappearance on ground that will suit.
