In depth

Verdict

Another tough race to call for punters and again the market will be all important but the principals look to be Model Sun Star buck and Dear Boy and the tentative vote is given to Dear Boy. The showed a fair amount of ability between the flags is sure to have been well schooled for this his chasing debut and under conditions that suit will be hard to beat. Starbuck rates the main danger as at least he has plenty of experience over the larger obstacles and is sure to run his race but he is one paced and again he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type.Model Sun is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind River Alder but he was let down by his jumping on that occasion and he will need to improve in that department if he is to score. Of the remainder Frosty¿s Cousin is from a yard in form and should be noted in the market but his overall profile leaves him with a little to find and for the winner we return to Dear Boy.
