In depth

Verdict

BARRICHELLO has been beaten twice over longer distances since second over 2m at Bangor in November but he is the clear form pick in this. Up For Parol, a winner between the flags, travelled strongly for a long way when fourth on his debut under Rules at Doncaster. That race has worked out well but the drop back to 2m might not be in his favour. Fete Champetre was too keen when only sixth on his hurdling debut at Kelso and better is expected today from the bumper winner.
