In depth

Verdict

GWENCILY BERBAS has gone up 7lb after a second win over this trip at Exeter 10 days ago but he might be the one to beat again if fully recovered. Innisfree Lad has placed twice over 4m so stepping back up in trip won’t faze the recent Hereford scorer. Don Herbager could also figure if on a going day but Silver In Disguise never looked like catching Max Dynamo last time at Chepstow and is still below par. Neither Geryville nor Your Own Story are getting much help from the handicapper as they try to end frustrating sequences.
