Verdict

ABERGAVENNY, formerly a useful middle-distance handicapper for Mark Johnston, looked a decent prospect over hurdles when scoring on his debut at Hereford last week and should have few problems adding to his tally here. Brian Ellison's charge may have most to fear from Enjoy Your Life, who stepped up on his debut effort when a close fourth over this C&D last month. Evans Wood was third in a Huntingdon bumper in January and may be best of the rest.
