Verdict

Shan Blue has won a point and placed in a bumper so a switch to hurdling should suit. Le Grand Fromage looked in need of the run when a beaten favourite at Hexham and should do better here. Warwick bumper winner REDFORD ROAD is definitely one for the short-list as he is bred for jumping so he gets the nod ahead of Forewarning, who has placed in bumpers and won over 2m1f on the Flat in August so will have no problems lasting home. I'm Wiser Now seems to have a mind of his own while Kerrkenny Gold is having a first run for a new yard and making his debut over timber after more than a year on the sidelines. Dhowin is another newcomer to hurdling but is one to note for future reference.
