THREE COLOURS RED ran his best race to date over timber when a close-up third at Haydock recently - he may prove good enough in this ahead of Astrum. The latter had just nudged his way into the lead when falling at the last in an amateurs' race at Catterick but has been raised 7lb. Perseid won a couple of novice handicaps in September but has struggled of late while Arkaim has been in woeful form over fences but drops in class off a much lower mark back over timber.
