In depth

Verdict

Ascot fourth Jersey has his sights lowered having contested a Listed race at Newbury on his second start. He will probably start favourite but HURRICANE BAY showed definite signs of ability when fifth at Huntingdon and may improve past him. Ailes D'amour has a nice pedigree and cost €32,000 so it would be no surprise to see him in the firing-line with the Kayf Tara newcomer Mexican Boy also worth a market check. Howzat Valtat never figured at Kempton but should be capable of better.
