Verdict

Pitt Rivers, who doesn't have the best of the draw, looked to have a fair chance at Chepstow on Tuesday but was withdrawn though he had no problems with soft ground at Hamilton last time. Uncle Roger scored in fast conditions at Bath but didn't enjoy easier ground there last time and this should be more suitable though he's another badly berthed. Brickfielder made a winning debut at Folkestone on ground with some give but disappointed when fancied for a strong Haydock nursery on much quicker going. Venetian View had been showing up well before his success on Polytrack and can go well but it's AMADEUS WOLFE TONE, who is progressing nicely and gained a comfortable success at Chepstow, who looks the one to be on.
