Verdict

This may not be as competitive as the numbers would suggest and it would be no surprise to see Cresswell Quay make light of his penalty for a cosy victory gained at Newton Abbot. Peter Bowen's charge raced from 7lb out of the handicap on that occasion but had enough in reserve to suggest that the assessor is yet to get to grips with him. The fact that he is set to be turned out so quickly would also indicate that his connections feel he can overcome the bounce factor and will carry the TEAMtalk hopes in what in truth is a fairly moderate contest. Young Thruster and Dunnicks View are noted as live dangers if they can run up to the pick of their form but both have remained winless for too long a time to confidently predict a reversal in fortunes. Therefore Glanamana could give the selection the most to do at an each way price.
