Verdict

Bound For Glory has been in fine form between the flags but was due to run at Straford yesterday. BEAR'S AFFAIR was placed in similar races to this before running in the Foxhunters' at Aintree where he never really got into contention but wasn't beaten far at the finish. He finished just in front of Mr Mercurial, who had won a hunters' event at Ludlow earlier, and this pair should dominate this with preference for the former. The remainder look as though they are playing for places with six-times point-to-point winner Iron Chancellor perhaps the best of them.
