Verdict

It will take a good performance to lower the colours of BROADWAY BUFFALO, who was hugely impressive when making a winning start to his hurdles career at Ayr. He should have too much for Heronshaw, who is also unbeaten under Rules but only won by a head at Ludlow - the second has been beaten since. I Shot The Sheriff won at Wetherby in October but was pulled up in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham the following month and hasn't been seen since. He's the stable's second string on jockey bookings. Venetia Williams' Mr Steel makes his racecourse debut and faces a stiff task.
