Verdict

Tuscan Gold is still a maiden but would have claims on his third at Kempton in November off a higher mark. BARENGER was beaten less than a length over track and trip in December and taking on better opposition over a longer trip when only fifth at Musselburgh subsequently. He has more scope than the majority of these and can open his account this afternoon. Thundering Home may be the danger as he's been in good form lately, though is another creeping up the weights. The four-year-old Sir Fredlot has a chance and is preferred to top weight Experimentalist of the remainder.
