Ship Of The Fen failed to score over hurdles but the four-times Flat winner was second on his chasing bow at Uttoxeter. ARMATTIEKAN was keeping better company in the first half of the year and has a decent strike-rate over fences. He will be all the better for spin over hurdles at Bangor and looks to be on a decent mark. Pens Man has only gone up 4lb after making a winning start over the larger obstacles at Uttoxeter and rates the danger.
