Verdict

A good quality renewal of this Listed contest can go to Topkamp, who is just preferred over Dialling Tone, Illustria and Look Here's Carol. The Michael Bell-trained three-year-old shaped as if this trip is well within her compass when scoring comfortably on firm ground at Haydock at the start of this month, and she should again relish the conditions as she bids to build on that performance. The selection does have to concede 5lb as a result of that success, but she has already shown that she is progressive enough to cope with her penalty. The fact that Kieren Fallon is has been booked for the ride is an obvious plus. Dialling Tone will be a big threat under Richard Hughes and should make a bold bid, whereas Illustria and Look Here's Carol and Penelewey all have improvement to find to get the better of Topkamp, even in receipt of weight.
