Verdict

A tough finale with many imponderables and we will go for On Every Street at the expense of Beauchamp Star and Dafina. Henry Cecil's charge has been highly tried thus far and while he looks to be no more than ordinary, On Every Street looks to have been found a decent opportunity to break his maiden at the fourth time of asking. Beauchamp Star has been tried on a variety of surfaces although on balance, her action suggests that she might prefer a little bit of cut in the ground so overnight weather forecasts must be consulted. Dafina is a John Oxx cast-off who has made the journey across the Irish Sea to join Hugh Morrison. She placed in two maidens in Ireland but did not look the most resolute of individuals when push came to shove. Line Drawing should have no problems with the trip given two outings at Chester and Sandown. Lasser Light looks best of the remainder but that is not much of a recommendation in itself. On Every Street is our selection.
