Ceoperk escapes a penalty for her course and distance success earlier this month in a conditional jockeys' race but that came under testing ground and she may not be able to follow up on these conditions, while Saratogane may similarly want softer ground so a chance is taken with Ruby Dante. The selection is less exposed than most of her rivals after just seven career starts but she has shown some promise of late, has form on good jumping ground and could have been let in lightly for her debut in a handicap taking a drop in trip. Lady Maranzi has rather harshly been raised 9lbs for his win in a Taunton seller last time and is probably best watched now, while Xila Fontenailles has been expensive to follow and is not certain to appreciate the drop back to the minimum trip. Ruling Reef has been showing consistent form recently and has to be respected but she may prefer more testing ground and a chance is taken with the unexposed Ruby Dante.
