Max Dynamo was beaten nine lengths by the gambled-on Danilo D'Airy here 11 days ago but is now 17lb better off with the easy winner. This is also a much more competitive race with Goodnight Charlie a real course specialist, though probably on the wane. Troed Y Melin won in a higher grade at Exeter last month and Robin Of Sherwood won over 3m5f here at the end of last season and was quickly back on song at Ffos Las after a rare flop at Fakenham. Black Centaur was successful over this trip at Plumpton in March but Hang Tough has proved hard to place since scoring at Lingfield in the autumn. The progressive SHATTERED GLASS passed up an opportunity at Hexham yesterday to run here instead and the Chepstow winner could have these on the stretch if getting into a rhythm. Colonel Manderson should also be noted for future reference.
