Verdict

Cuckoo Rock is back on a winning mark but needs testing conditions to show his best. Rowlestone Lad has claims on his second at Nottingham on Thursday and Nico de Boinville is one of the most experienced amateurs riding in this but we just prefer Simon Walker's mount JEWELLED DAGGER. He was far from disgraced at Leicester after winning on similar going at Chepstow. Another nine-year-old, Iguacu, may not have stayed 1m6f at Nottingham last time and should also be prominent.
