Lady Deauville has every chance judged by official BHA ratings but she would ideally want a softer surface and a safer option looks to be LADY JANE DIGBY, who gets the vote ahead of Cassique Lady. Lucy Wadham's filly is less exposed than most of these after just five starts and having run better than expected behind Suzi's Decision in a Listed race at Haydock last month, she has to be respected. Rae Guest's Syvilla has a bit to find with Cassique Lady on running last time and of more interest may be Princess Taylor, who split the pair of them in that Haydock contest. Ralph Beckett's Hobby ran well when chasing home Classic Punch at Ripon in a conditions race last time and she has to be considered but it is Lady Jane Digby that gets the vote. Mark Johnston's filly has run well in both starts back on turf in competitive handicaps after some improved performances on the Polytrack and she looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to land a race in this class.
