In depth

Verdict

This is not as competitive as the numbers would suggest and top weight Daydream Aulmes would have decent claims. Irish Prince hasn’t raced since a second at Worcester in July and Drewmain Legend has been off even longer, though his victory at Chepstow in April has worked out well. DRUID’S FOLLY has not proved as good as was once hoped and is appearing for the first time since June but he’s probably on a fair mark and the yard is going well at present so he gets a tentative vote ahead of Samson The Man, having a first run since wind surgery, and Doncaster third Bomber's Moon. El Scorpio is feasibly treated but fellow maiden March Is On needs more.
