In depth

Verdict

SOJOURN has a cracking pedigree for jumping but just needed the experience when third at Wincanton. He beat a subsequent Listed winner in an Aintree bumper in November and is probably the one with most scope in this. Bubbles Of Gold placed behind useful types at Newcastle and Uttoxeter but failed to land the odds in a three-runner race at Market Rasen two weeks ago. Eclair De Guye may not be suited by the drying ground and has already been beaten twice in handicaps but Oh Michelle is much better than she showed on her belated reappearance at Ludlow, though has been hard to train.
