Another head-scratcher for punters and we will side with Scutch Mill who was in fair enough form over hurdles and despite being yet to win on the turf, he gets the vote ahead of Danzare and Bobering. The selection won his last two starts on the all-weather and Pat Haslam's five-year-old seems to be on the improve. Today's jockey was on board for both of those wins and as he seems to get on very well with this slightly quirky horse, he may be worth siding with once again. The ground suits and he looks sure to run his race. Bobering and jockey Sonia Eaton have teamed up to win two of their last four starts together and they have place claims at least today, although the horse's revised mark means that he will need to be at his very best. Apex and Western Roots are both fairly consistent so each has place claims once again, however of more interest may be Danzare. Today's ground suits to a 'T' and John Spearing's dual-performer looks capable of yet another decent run. At a price Tony Carroll's Be Wise Girl could go well if fit enough after a lengthy absence and should be watched for signs of support in the market, however Scutch Mill looks the safest option and he gets the nomination.
