Verdict

Despite his starting price, WALK ON AL turned in a very creditable performance in a Grade 2 at Doncaster in January. He only weakened approaching the last and finished ahead of three useful previous winners. He is fancied to give 6lb to Algernon Pazham, who escapes a penalty for his Leicester victory as it came in a race confined to conditional jockeys. By The Boardwalk ran well at Ascot two runs ago but was not as impressive there last time. Island Cruise was placed twice at Ludlow last month but is likely to find at least one too good again.
