Tyrell was fourth at Exeter on his hurdles debut last month and should figure in this. He’s preferred to L'emir D'art, who got no further than the first on his debut over timber while another import from France, Don Bersy, was only second of three runners over hurdles back in June. A chance is taken on hurdling newcomer SPADER, a winner on the Flat at Navan for Ger Lyons and making his debut for Dan Skelton today. Singapore Sling is interesting representing James Fanshawe on his hurdling bow with Richard Johnson on board.
