In depth

Verdict

Ashgreen gets the vote here with Paddy The Optimist and Lets Go Dutch rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Caislean Na Deirge last time out. They were clear of third on that occasion and off the same mark here under similar conditions he will be hard to beat. Paddy The Optimist rates the main danger on his fourth behind Professor Hegarty. That horse would have gone close but for slipping up last time and as he looks sure to have come on for the run he will not be far away. Lets Go Dutch is another that will relish conditions but he looked as if the handicapper had caught up with him when only fourth behind Terramarique last time. Rash Moment has the ability to go close off this mark but he is beset with jumping problems. Of the others Earcomesannie's best form is with more cut in the ground and with this in mind for the winner we return to Ashgreen.
