Verdict

Doitforthevillage will be targeting one of the big early-season handicaps over fences and is unlikely to be fully wound-up for this. He also has a poor record over timber so others are preferred. Herewego Herewego has a lengthy absence to overcome but produced a decent run at Newbury 18 months ago. Amirr has a couple of placed efforts to his name but doesn’t look to be progressing. BALLYGOWN BAY changed hands for 60,000 euros last year and was placed in a couple of bumpers here at the start of the year. He is likely to show plenty of improvement for the switch to hurdles. Blazon, Honest Vic and Shackleton are also worth a market check.
