Sabaaya is speedily bred and well drawn so it would be no surprise to see Mike De Kock’s filly in the firing-line on debut but Swingthewillow was beaten six lengths when second over 5f here in March and will need significant improvement to go one better. South East was a disappointing favourite and behind Sergeant York at Turffontein in February and this may be a stronger maiden. We like the way ROYAL WULFF shaped at that track in his introduction and he’ll know more today.
