In depth

Verdict

Despite looking far from the finished article, HELIOPSIS shaped with a deal of promise on his first start over C&D in October. With that run under his belt, the Beneficial gelding should be a tougher proposition today and gets the vote. Master Conor and Monbeg Dude are both winners in the point-to-point field but, like the mare Kaffie, will probably be seen to better effect when faced with a set of obstacles. Generals Love disappointed on his debut at Towcester but is probably capable of better and preferred to Ffos Las third Miss Hippy of the remainder.
