Verdict

Not the ideal 'getting out stakes' but MONTY'S MOON showed a good attitude when scoring at Southwell this month and a 3lb rise for that success seems perfectly reasonable. Previously a sound second to big improver E Street Boy, he's reunited with Peter Carberry who got a good tune out of him at Southwell and can supplement those gains. Some Catch was swept aside by Pugnacity in selling company at Wetherby but the form looks considerably better after her conqueror went on to score in handicap company next time. She rates the main danger, whilst Jomade improved on previous efforts when fourth in a Chepstow handicap and looks sure to appreciate the considerable step up in trip. Chit Chat is unexposed and could also play a part.
