In depth

Verdict

This is a very decent contest for the time of year with Paul Nicholls and Philip Hobbs both doubly represented. Easy Chepstow winner Ruben Cotter is preferred to Dormello Mo of the former's pair while Cloud Creeper looks the pick of the latter's duo with Richard Johnson riding. Germany Calling made no impression at Cheltenham but it's too soon to write him off but Minella Present will need to jump better than he did at Aintree last month. Dare Me is looking a little long in the tooth but Long House Hall is probably capable of better. HENRYVILLE (NAP) probably has the class to defy top weight as the softer going was a legitimate excuse when he was only fourth last time at Punchestown, though he wasn't beaten far.
