Willie Pep is the selection in a competitive affair with Brize Norton and De Soto the alternatives. Wilile Pep was a fair hurdler on his day, finishing a close up second behind Deep Purple in a hurdles event at Ascot in December and if straight enough today, he could give them all something to think about this summer. Brize Norton was a tad disappointing last time out behind Sporazene at Newton Abbot. The trip shouldn't be a problem. De Soto was much the best of these on official hurdling figures . That said, he may have been flattered by those figures and it is quite some time since he has won a race. Havenstone is a poor handicapper. Moygashel was staying on over hurdles at Down Royal over 2m4f but was probably held when capsizing. Ngong Hills is a former pointer that has it to do on rules evidence. Willie Pep is the selection.
