Verdict

Martin Pipe's Philippa Yeates is interesting dropping into a seller for the first time but has given little sign of encouragement so far in five previous starts and preference is for Adalie, who gets the vote over Access Overseas. The selection is nothing out of the ordinary but has at least won a race, over fences in February, and is entitled to strip fitter for a couple of promising races this autumn. She makes more appeal than Stratford winner Some Operator, who has shown very little in three starts since returning from a break. Damien's Choice hails from the in-form stable of Philip Pritchard but the 12-year-old is pretty much exposed now and of more interest may be Access Overseas. Jimmy Frost's mare ran with promise behind Red Dahlia at Taunton and again on a return visit to the same venue when a close fifth behind Eyes To The Right. With the remainder difficult to recommend on recent evidence, she may prove to be the main threat to Adalie.
