Verdict

ANNIE ANGEL produced her best for some time when a smooth winner at Fontwell, since when she's moved to Dan Skelton. That may well elicit further improvement but she's 12lb higher for the win so does need to progress. Nevertheless, she still receives decent poundage all round and hopefully the Skelton yard can work the oracle again. Topofthecotswolds keeps bumping into one too good and will surely notch an elusive success sooner rather than later off a feasible mark. Net De Treve and Adman Sam make appeal whereas those towards the head of the weights look to be in the grip of the handicapper at present and would probably appreciate a little respite.
