In depth

Verdict

KILLARD POINT has dropped down the weights and now might be the time to catch him though Magot De Grugy and Sula's Legend have strong claims. Caroline Bailey's charge is likely to have needed that first run back of the campaign but his style of racing is suited to this track and the claim of his amateur pilot is a help. Magot De Grugy finished behind our selection when they last met but there is a likelihood that he will be somewhat shorter in the market as his stable are amongst the winners. Sula's Legend seldom runs a bad race and should not be far away. Fourball was a winner of a handicap hurdle for Christy Roche though seemed to have lost his way under his tutelage. Aheadofhistime has made his name as something of a Chepstow specialist. King Jack faces no easy task under top weight and could be one to watch today with an eye to future handicaps. Black Ven possesses ability though is equally prone to mistakes. A competitive race where fitness will come into play so we side with Killard Point.
