Verdict

Silver Story is sure to be popular whilst Bermuda Pointe has a good record when fresh but it would be no surprise to see MAD JACK DUNCAN attract support and he may be able to run amok. Lawney Hill has fast made a name for herself since taking out a full licence and she has proven particularly adept at getting the best out of horses that have frustrated elsewhere and of making the most of their handicap marks. Mad Jack Duncan may prove to be yet another example of her talents as he struggled when formerly under Rules but he has been in sparkling form between the flags and makes his debut over regulation fences with his enthusiasm intact. Proven claims are held by Silver Story following his win at Worcester, although it's not easy to assess the merit of that comfortable success, and Bermuda Pointe who has been at his best when fresh whilst cheekpieces may help Romping Home and Tell Me The Story is completely unexposed but ready preference is for Mad Jack Duncan.
