Verdict

A 6lb penalty for Killard Point will make life trickier and so we will pass him over and side with Earnest ahead of Read All About It. The selection made a pleasing start over fences when fourth at Wetherby last month and with that experience under his belt he looks sure to mount a bold bid today. The ground suits and today's step up in trip looks a good move as he won over it off this mark over hurdles. Killard Point is an obvious danger but had to be driven out to win last time out and whilst there still may be more to come, he looks worth taking on under his penalty. Read All About It doesn't look the most straightforward of horses but he scored readily last time out for AP McCoy and if in the same mood could be hard to beat today. Snipe has course form so is another to consider along with Moorlaw, however Earnest looks progressive and can land the spoils.
